Description
My second attempt at full 2d Painting. I've spent so much time on this one I think it's time to wrap it up, errors and all.I've always loved the combination of green eyes with red scarlett hair. And with her semi smug expression, she screamed royality!
No reference used. I also figured out the how to get the hair a tad better in Painter.
Looking at this and comparing it to the first one I see all the mistakes I made with the first one. And I might go back and redo the first one(maybe) =p
Done in Painter using a mouse(wacom still in storage). Took many hours hehe over a 2 week period.
Critiques and comments are always appreciated.
Enjoy ^_^

The face/body is way too smooth and the lips aren't symmetrical...the lips also seem to just be a pure red...shouldn't they have remenants of the skin tone in them?
The clothes don't seem right to me...like they were sort of an afterthought. The colors seem too pure...deep? to really go with the girl wearing them...and the way they are attatched and haning from her body doesn't seem right....

wel...l may i comment it one by one?
for hair, it seem u need to have more hi-light. n also darker area.
i've never use painter before, but it should be no problem for u to add more lighting effect to her hair.
mmm what we call this thing... hair circlet?? (my english is bad) this thing looks more like tatoo than a patterned metal. as i said before, a little hi light thing would help (an area where reflect more light).
well, it better to have your eye ball to get a darrker area on each corner to get more round look. yours is look horizontally silindrical.
her dress looks flat, play more with colour. something as above.
the last thing is her bone. dont know what u call this bone heheheh something begin with S...... really forget heheheh. its the bone above her chest. in my opinion, it's shape is not |__| but looks a bit like -v- i cannot draw here but i guess u got it ^^
sorry for being rude.. great work for the pattern ^^
